Job summary

Zego is hiring a Senior AI Product Manager for the Platform team. You will own a domain within Platform, shape its quarterly strategy, and steer it to deliver reliable, AI-ready services used across quoting, buying, paying, and policy changes.

You will translate technical challenges into business value and collaborate with engineering, compliance and finance to ensure scalable outcomes. You will lead discovery, manage dependencies, and drive fast, safe iterations while maintaining platform

Qualifications

• Platform product ownership: owning a technical/platform domain and delivering business impact.
• Technical literacy: comfortable with system architecture, APIs, event-driven services.
• Legacy modernisation: led incremental rebuilds while keeping services live.
• Data and commercial fluency: use data to ground decisions, query Snowflake/Looker.
• Clarity in complexity: untangle dependencies and explain trade-offs.
• Regulated environment: experience in insurance/payments/financial services with compliance.
• AI-first: daily use of AI, curious, fast to prototype and own learning.

Responsibilities

• Define domain quarterly strategy and goals within Platform, balancing new capability with reliability.
• Lead complex discovery autonomously as we modernise policy lifecycle.
• Dive into technical detail, understand dependencies and trade-offs with engineering.
• Treat internal teams as customers; launch products, prices or journeys quickly and predictably.
• Make services AI-ready with well-documented APIs and data for agents and automations.
• Set metrics for reliability, incidents, time-to-launch and cost-to-serve; justify platform investments.
• Build compliance in from day one with Legal, Compliance and Finance; ensure auditable processes.
• Engage stakeholders; facilitate planning and drive alignment across domains.
