Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a technical leader to spearhead coworking solutions within the Data & AI Lab. You will translate business needs into agent-based tooling, mentor engineers, and drive MVPs from prototype to production across priority areas.

In this role you’ll design reusable assets for the Lab’s platform, evaluate open-source options, collaborate with stakeholders, and embed solutions into SOPs and workflows to measure tangible benefits.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading technology delivery in complex production environments.
Extensive knowledge of solutions architecture, software engineering and automation.
Hands-on experience with agentic coding and coworking tech (Claude Code, Cowork, OpenClaw, GitHub Copilot).
Strong understanding of operational processes and risk management in financial services.
Ability to influence stakeholders and translate productivity opportunities into MVPs.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering of coworking solutions for priority business areas, taking designs from prototype to MVP.
Design and build reusable capabilities for the Lab’s platform and repository with a clear adoption path.
Apply hands-on experience to evaluate options, recommend approaches and accelerate delivery.
Partner with business stakeholders to shape use cases, embed solutions into SOPs and measure outcomes.
Coach and mentor engineers, review code, and engage senior stakeholders on technical direction.
