Job summary

Howden is seeking a Lead Business AI Engineer to drive AI-powered business solutions using Microsoft enterprise tools. You will lead a small team of AI engineers, guide automation and Copilot-based solutions within a Microsoft 365 environment, and balance hands-on problem solving with leadership and delivery oversight.

You will work with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and the AI Business Solution Manager to ensure projects align with strategic AI direction, architecture, and governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering AI-based business automation" using Microsoft technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, Azure Foundry).
• Demonstrated ability to lead/mentor technical teams and coordinate delivery in a collaborative environment.
• Strong familiarity with Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365, in low-code contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers with day-to-day task allocation and quality oversight.
• Oversee development and deployment of AI-driven business process enhancements using Copilot and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Architect low-code solution approaches and provide hands-on support for complex integrations when needed.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects to align with architecture patterns and governance.
• Ensure outputs meet security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.
