Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager for Solutions Architecture in Energy and Utilities across EMEA. You will lead a high-performing team, shape regional strategy, and engage with C-suite executives to drive AI-enabled cloud transformations for energy customers.

You will partner with regional sales, influence product roadmaps, mentor architects, and ensure security, performance, and compliance while expanding AWS adoption across North, Central Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of management of 20+ technical, enterprise, customer facing resources.
• 5+ years of experience working with complex Energy and Utility organizations.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and retain a team of Solutions Architects, fostering technical excellence and customer obsession.
• Drive performance management, hiring, and team career growth.
• Develop and execute technical strategy for major Energy accounts.
• Partner with Sales to align solutions with customer objectives.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor in C-suite discussions on infrastructure modernization.
• Lead complex engagements across content production, broadcast, streaming, gaming, and analytics.
• Guide digital and AI transformation initiatives including cloud migration and optimization.
• Represent AWS in executive discussions, public speaking, and industry events.
