Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with Enterprise Energy and other industrial customers, guiding cloud adoption and data/AI-driven transformations. You will craft cloud architectures, balance security and cost, and lead prescriptive guidance across AWS services.

You will collaborate with account management, professional services, AI/ML specialists, and partners to deliver value, scale best practices, and influence product roadmaps with a focus on data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience within technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures across infrastructure, data, and AI/ML.
• Own the technical relationship with the customer and act as trusted advisor.
• Design solutions across the breadth of AWS services, deep on data and AI workloads when needed.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence AWS roadmap and features.
• Create and capture best practices, technical content, and reference architectures focusing on data and AI patterns.
• Educate about AWS technology via workshops, user groups, meetups, and conferences.
• Contribute to team growth by interviewing candidates and shaping hiring decisions.
