QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Aerospace at Boscombe Down. You will provide technical leadership across aerospace programmes, delivering innovative, safe, and effective air system solutions.

You will lead teams, analyse requirements, and work with customers and engineers to decompose needs and drive delivery. The role covers diverse military and civil aircraft programmes, with responsibilities spanning requirements, integration, test, certification and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering across the lifecycle.
• Experience leading technical teams on complex programmes.
• Knowledge of military or civil aircraft platforms and subsystems.
• Experience with systems integration, test and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand and decompose requirements.
• Coordinate technical activities across engineering disciplines.
• Develop and deliver Technical Delivery Plans.
• Manage technical risks and support governance activities.
• Support bid and business development with technical solutions.
