Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Amesbury (Boscombe Down) invites applications for a Systems Engineer to provide aerospace systems engineering support across air platforms, including UAS, applying established processes and tools.

You will be part of a Systems/Project Engineering team, lead small projects, and ensure delivery to time, cost and quality while coordinating bids and technical work. Please note SC clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles.
• Aerospace or related engineering background required.
• Knowledge of air vehicle life cycle and aircraft certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing systems engineering support to aerospace projects and programmes.
• Leading small projects to ensure correct processes and tools are applied.
• Coordinate bids and Technical Delivery Plans and work breakdown structures.
• Assist with identifying project technical risks and support risk management.
• Capture and analyze customer requirements.
