Zusammenfassung

V.Group seeks an experienced 1st Engineer to join the cruise vessel AZAMARA ONWARD for immediate embarkation. You will manage the engine room, lead safety initiatives, and supervise maintenance across Main and Auxiliary engines, with a focus on diesel-electric propulsion and scrubber systems.

Requirements include CoC, STCW certs, English fluency, and proven cruise-ship experience. Rotation is 14 weeks on / 14 weeks off; joining ASAP. Reporting to Staff Engineer in Engine Department.

Qualifikationen

• CoC required and valid STCW certificates.
• Proven experience as 1st Engineer on passenger vessels.
• Strong background with diesel-electric propulsion systems.
• Experience operating and maintaining scrubbers.

Aufgaben

• Maintain safe engine room watch at sea, in port or anchor.
• Lead safe operation and monitoring of main/auxiliary engines.
• Coordinate with technical parties and departments for maintenance.
• Oversee repairs in engine room and outside, per policies and regulations.
• Ensure engine room logs and compliance with safety standards.
