Zusammenfassung

V.Group is seeking an experienced 1st Officer for the cruise vessel AZAMARA QUEST. You will maintain a safe navigational watch on the bridge while the vessel is at sea, at anchor and in port, supporting the Master, Safety Officer and Navigation Officer.

Embarkation is ASAP with a contract duration of 14 weeks on/off. Fluent English required; STCW95 and CoC A-II/1 are essential. VISA C1D or equivalent may be required for international travel.

Qualifikationen

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-II/1.
• Appropriate certification as required by regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of navigational charts and publications.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Moral integrity required.
• Coast Guard and Port State Control experience.

Aufgaben

• Act as Master’s representative during Bridge watch and supervise the on-watch team.
• Ensure watches are carried out properly and Masters standing orders followed.
• Observe meteorological and tidal conditions and monitor bridge equipment.
• Maintain log of watch operations and conditions.
• Familiarize lower-ranked Deck Officers with bridge instruments and equipment.
• Oversee in-port manning duties and moorings during port calls.
• Ensure seaworthiness and readiness of main engines and other machinery.
