V.Group is seeking a Staff Chief Engineer for the cruise vessel Magellan Explorer, with embarkation planned for 01-Dec-2026. The role offers a three-month rotation, +/-1, and an emphasis on safe navigation and environmental compliance on a shipboard assignment.

Applicants must hold STCW certificates, a CoC A-III/2, and have extensive staff engineering experience. English fluency and strong references are required for this demanding leadership position.

Formación

• Valid STCW95 certification.
• Valid CoC A-III/2 or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as a Staff Engineer.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Alaska experience is a plus.
• Public Health, Coast Guard and Port State Control experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the Chief Engineer in all technical, mechanical, electrical and environmental matters.
• Ensures that all systems and equipment of every sub division of the technical department are operating correctly and are maintained to the highest possible standards.
• Ensures proper coordination and cooperation with different technical parties and departments.
