Job summary

Lowell Financial Ltd in Leeds is seeking a commercially minded Lawyer to join our Legal team. You will work with the UK Legal Director and Senior Lawyer to provide practical, easily understood legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, and help shape and support business initiatives by negotiating important agreements and managing legal risk.

You will be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise makes a real impact on the business, with hybrid and flexible working

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales or Scotland, with experience providing commercial legal advice in a business environment.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts while balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Strong understanding of commercial law and the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice that helps colleagues make informed business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
• Experience working within financial services, consumer finance or another regulated sector would be beneficial, as would exposure to data protection, technology, intellectual property and outsourcing matters.
