Job summary

Lowell is seeking a HR Business Partner to work in a hybrid Leeds environment, collaborating with managers and team leaders to manage employee relations with care and commercial focus.

You will handle complex ER cases, build manager capability, identify trends and influence improvements across the organisation, contributing to a supportive and high‑performing workplace.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Employee Relations or Colleague Relations within a fast-paced business.
  • Confidence handling complex disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
  • Experience partnering operational leaders, ideally in contact centre or operations.
  • Excellent judgement balancing colleague experience, policy, and business needs.
  • Practical communicator with ability to influence and build trust quickly.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with ability to turn insights into improvements.

HR Business Partner

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds,Hybridworking.

Join us as a HR Business Partner at the heart of our operations, where you’ll work side by side with Managers and Team Leaders to navigate complex and sensitive ER cases with confidence, care and commercial focus. You’ll be a visible, hands‑on presence in the office, building strong, trusted relationships and becoming the go‑to adviser for real‑time support — guiding, challenging and developing leaders to take ownership of people matters.

Thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, including periods of change, you’ll balance colleague experience, policy and business risk while driving fair and consistent outcomes. Alongside managing complex cases, you’ll build manager capability, spot trends, and influence improvements, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their impact and shape how colleague relations is delivered.

What we are looking for:
