Job summary

Lowell Financial Ltd is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Leeds-based team with hybrid working. You will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls and service standards.

You’ll handle high-volume invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs, using Excel and Oracle ERP. We value attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong stakeholder management, with opportunities to develop your career.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable in a high-volume processing environment.
• Invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong financial controls.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) and Oracle ERP; AAT or equivalent is advantageous.

As our **Accounts Payable Specialist**, you'll play a key role in making sure suppliers are paid correctly and on time, while helping us maintain strong financial controls and excellent service standards. You'll work closely with colleagues and suppliers across the business, solving problems, building great relationships, and supporting continuous improvement as we continue to evolve and automate our processes.**What we need from you:*** Previous Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume processing environment.* Strong understanding of invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs.* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and maintain strong financial controls.* Strong problem-solving skills, with the confidence to investigate and resolve discrepancies and queries.* Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.* Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) and experience using ERP systems such as Oracle; an AAT qualification or equivalent experience would be an advantage.If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement – don’t worry, still apply.
