Job summary

Katie Bard is recruiting an experienced Business Change Manager to lead organisational transformation within a growing law firm in the West Midlands. You will own people and operational aspects of change, ensuring new structures and processes are adopted and embedded.

You will work with senior leaders and a transformation team to deliver impact across multiple projects, balancing commercial needs with effective change adoption. This is a hybrid role with UK travel.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience delivering organisational or business change within a law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of how change affects people, operations and structures.
• Experience with change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, readiness and adoption.
• Comfort working with senior leadership and influencing across functions.
• Experience managing change across multiple projects, departments or locations.
• Hands-on, ownership-driven approach in evolving environments.
• A change management qualification (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, APMG) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead business change activities across organisational transformation, integration and operational improvement projects.
• Assess impact of change on teams, responsibilities and processes.
• Develop and deliver structured change management plans from assessment to adoption.
• Engage senior leaders and stakeholders to build understanding and ownership of change.
• Identify resistance and create practical strategies to address concerns.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to translate delivery into operational change.
• Develop stakeholder engagement, communication and training approaches for different teams.
• Assess readiness and monitor adoption to ensure sustained new ways of working.
