Responsibilities

• Operate Washer/Dryer to launder clothes, linens and resident personal belongings.
• Take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
• Check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to manager for discussion if a repair is necessary.
• Be aware of colour coded laundry bags and the temperature required to launder.
• Launder and iron home curtains and nets as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the laundry room area.

South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist Nursing home in Bolney, nr Haywards Heath.

Hours

WK 1 - Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6

WK 2 - Tuesday 8-6, Fri 8-6, Sat 8-6, Sun 8-6

This Role Will Involve

• Operate Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens and resident personal belongings
