Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath. The role supports a clean, safe home and delivers a high standard of care in a community setting.

Hours are 14 or 28 hours per week with a rotating schedule. Competitive hourly pay (£12.76 weekdays, £13.40 weekends), access to pay as you earn, free uniform and DBS, pension, and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
• Clean residents' rooms daily after nursing staff have completed care.
• Clean communal areas including mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Keep storage areas tidy and free of clutter.
• Shampoo carpets as needed.

An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Eastridge Manor in Bolney, Nr Haywards Heath.

Hours: 14 or 28 hrs per week

Rota pattern:

14 hrs - can be flexible on start and end times

Week 1: Thursday & Friday

Week 2: Friday & Saturday

28hrs:

Wk 1 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs all 7am-3pm

Wk 2 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat all 7am -3pm

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents

• To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the
  home at all times.
• To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have
  completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and
  water/dispose of as necessary.
• To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
• Ensuring the home is safe eg, removing clutter, keeping storage area’s tidy
• Shampoo carpets as and when needed.
