Job summary

Howden Group Services Limited invites applications for a Life & Income Protection Apprenticeship Programme in Gloucester. You will start in a permanent role while completing an 18-month development programme, spending 3-4 office days weekly at the start and transitioning to 2 days as training completes.

You will gain a Level 3 Insurance qualification, with structured induction and mentorship from experienced advisors, helping you protect customers' financial futures.

Qualifications

• Must have the full and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Must have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• No overlapping qualification with content of this apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Learn the foundation of insurance and customer service through hands-on experience and structured training.
• Work alongside experienced advisors to understand how customer requirements are assessed and how appropriate insurance protection is recommended based on their individual needs.
• Build rapport with our customers and help understand their background and medical history.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date client records across multiple systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and learn how to manage telephone conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Learn how to work with and build relationships with underwriters and support advisors with missing information.
