Job summary

Priory is opening Horizon House in Nottingham and seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead the launch of a new residential addiction service. You will become the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring safe, compliant operation and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This on-site role will require leadership of multidisciplinary teams, close collaboration with commissioners and a focus on governance, safeguarding and service performance to establish strong standards for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within addiction or substance misuse services.
• A proven track record as a Service Manager, or equivalent senior operational leader, within a regulated care, treatment or specialist service.
• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, governance and quality standards.
• Experience of leading multidisciplinary or specialist teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including working with external professionals and partners.
• A clear commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the therapy-led residential service, creating a safe, supportive and high-performing environment for clients and colleagues.
• Hold overall responsibility for quality, regulatory compliance, safeguarding, workforce and operational performance, working with the Therapy Lead and wider leadership team to deliver strong outcomes.
• Take ownership of the service’s commercial performance and development, including staffing, occupancy and budget control, while building relationships with commissioners, referrers and professional partners.
