Job summary

Peabody Community Foundation is seeking a dedicated Later Living Community Manager for our West London team to help residents aged 55+ live independently in a safe, welcoming community. You will act as the main contact for residents, resolve housing and maintenance issues, and promote wellbeing and community engagement.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations, build relationships with residents and contractors, and ensure health, safety and compliance standards are met while providing cover for

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management, residential services or supporting vulnerable adults.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Knowledgeable about health and safety, safeguarding and risk management.
• An effective communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and use good judgement.
• Resilient, empathetic and committed to creating positive outcomes for residents.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent housing management and customer service to residents.
• Support residents to maintain their independence and access appropriate services when needed.
• Manage tenancy sign-ups, resident enquiries and community communications.
• Monitor repairs, maintenance and estate services, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns.
• Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, local agencies and colleagues.
• Organise community activities that promote health, wellbeing and resident engagement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and fire safety requirements.
• Provide cover across other West London communities when required.
