Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Transport Team Lead for the late shift at UK5 Lutterworth. You will manage trailer movements, support drivers, ensure compliance, and coordinate communications and reporting to maintain performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership of a floor-based team and active involvement in safety and operational records. You will work closely with drivers and hubs to meet service targets, train staff, and drive a best-in-class transport operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics, preferably as a Team Lead or Transport Coordinator.
• Ability to plan and lead colleagues to meet customer service and productivity targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationships with drivers and depots.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trailers for dispatch, sign documentation, and provide day‑to‑day support.
• Motivate and organise team to meet productivity targets.
• Maintain high standards of customer service in transport operations.
• Deliver on‑job training and support development.
• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and report issues.
• Respond to emails and queries promptly.
• Maintain workflow and keep department organized.
• Champion Health & Safety and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with peers and managers and take on extra responsibilities.
