Job Duties:

• Setting up and operating laser cutting machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Adjusting machine settings to ensure accurate cutting of materials
• Monitoring machine operation and conducting quality checks
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Laser Setter Operator or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English
• Relevant vocational training or certification in laser cutting operations

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating laser cutting machines
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of laser cutting technology and equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional vocational training or certification in laser cutting operations
• Experience with specific laser cutting software

Working Conditions:
