Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd. is recruiting a skilled Laser Punch Press / CNC Operator for a permanent role in Yate. The position involves setting and operating Amada CNC Laser Punch machines, reading engineering drawings, and creating/revising programs for Laser and Punch operations.

You will ensure program accuracy, manage machine parameters, and conduct quality inspections while following Health and Safety protocols on site. A pension scheme and convenient location near major roads are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Attention to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate AMADA CNC Laser Punch machines from engineering drawings.
• Create and revise programmes to initiate Laser and Punch operations.
• Maintain machine programs to prevent errors and ensure smooth production.
• Perform quality inspections of components to ensure conformance.

DAILY TIMES: 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday

7.00am – 12.00pm Friday

Vacancy – Laser Punch Press / CNC Operator

We are now recruiting for a temporary Laser Punch Press / CNC Operator to work for our client based in Yate area.

The Role:

• Set and operate Amada CNC Laser Punch
• Working from engineering drawings
• Create and revise programmes to initiate Laser and Punch machines
• To maintain programs within the machines to eliminate programming errors
• Quality inspection of components
• Adhere to Health and Safety protocols on site

The Person:

• Proven experience using AMADA CNC Laser and Punch machines
• Experience of operating a guillotine
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
