Job summary

Strive Supply Chain is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for Basildon, Essex. You will install, service, and repair laser engraving systems across the UK, ensuring customers’ equipment operates safely and effectively.

The role offers hands-on field work with on-going training, opportunities to gain external qualifications such as BOHS P601, and a structured path to develop technical skills while travelling to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair laser engraving equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults with a logical approach.
• Explain work clearly to customers and represent the business professionally.
• Complete service records and follow health and safety procedures.
• Plan travel and workload effectively while working independently in the field.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and share knowledge.
