Job summary

Novanta in Stockport, UK, is seeking a Laser Engineer to join our engineering team. You will develop and test laser systems and optical assemblies, build and align prototypes, analyze performance data and support manufacturing readiness.

You will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Service to resolve complex issues and influence product performance and reliability across global customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Photonics, Optical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Experience with lasers, optics, photonics or electro-optical systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience creating technical reports and test documentation.
