Job summary

Novanta in Stockport, Greater Manchester, is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead the Electronics Hardware Development team and drive both technical excellence and people development. You will partner with software, firmware, project management and wider stakeholders to shape the future of our laser products.

The role combines leadership with hands-on technical influence, delivering high-quality hardware solutions across a global business and contributing to the capability growth

The Opportunity

This role combines engineering leadership, team development and strategic delivery. You will lead a talented electronics engineering team responsible for developing the hardware that powers our next generation of advanced laser products while partnering closely with software, firmware, project management and wider business stakeholders. You will have genuine influence, helping shape engineering capability, development processes and future product innovation.

• Strong planning, communication and organisational skills
• A coaching leadership style focused on team growth
