We’re looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Large Loss Claims Handler to join our dynamic team who can make a real impact in either Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
The successful applicant will report to our Head of Large Loss and pro-actively manage a caseload of new and existing catastrophic personal injury claims potentially exceeding £1 million+ and involving claims of the utmost severity. This will include spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and limb amputation. Your day-to-day duties will involve working closely with other departmental colleagues, external solicitors, and stakeholders with an ultimate goal of settling significant complex and sensitive claims in a timely and professional manner.
You will be joining a valuable and busy department in our business. You should be a team player, able to use your own initiative and plan your workload independently whilst collaborating widely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an outstanding service to the Insurer, Reinsurers, and our Customers.
Core skills we’re looking for to succeed in the role:
We love flexibility and hybrid working to include 1 day a week in the office for team collaboration and 4 days from home depending on business requirements. This is a Monday to Friday role 9am to 5:30pm joining a valuable and busy team in our business.
