Advanced Resource Managers Limited is recruiting a Landing Gear Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Filton. The role offers £30ph Inside IR35 and requires strong knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly landing gear and hydraulics.

You will contribute to design development, work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and signatories, support system activities and V&V, and help ensure safety and continued airworthiness through robust requirements traceability.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace engineering, especially Safety and Continued Airworthiness.
• Knowledge of ARP 5150 (Safety Assessment of Commercial Airplanes), Part-21A.3, Part-M (Continuing Airworthiness Requirements), CS 25.1309.
• Good knowledge of Aircraft Systems, including Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems.
• Experience leading complex aerospace projects with time, cost and quality constraints.
• Strong ability to lead and manage a project team (Work Package management).

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the design development and modifications of the Braking and Steering System.
• Collaborate with interfaces across Systems, Structures, Certification Specialists, Chief Engineers, Procurement, and Vendors.
• Support System activities, including introducing new functionality and ensuring robust requirements cascade to the system.
• Support phase reviews and Validation and Verification (V&V) activities.
• Ensure activity meets Safety and technical needs with strong requirement adherence and V&V.
