Northern Powergrid Limited in the North East region is seeking a Land Rights Surveyor to help build the electricity network of the future. The role covers site acquisitions, wayleaves, lease renewals, and planning/environmental consents.

You will work with grantors, land agents, authorities and contractors, with a two-year training plan and potential RICS/CAAV membership support. Benefits include a competitive salary, pension, holidays and professional fees paid.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Law, Agriculture, Environment or related subject.
• Full driving licence required; travel across the NP operational area.
• Membership of RICS/CAAV/MRTPI desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Substation site acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Acquisition of wayleaves, easements and land access permissions.
• Negotiation and settlement of agricultural, wayleave and property loss claims.
• Acquisition of planning and environmental consents; respond to statutory notices.
