Job summary

Northern Powergrid Limited is seeking a candidate for our Land Rights Programme Delivery team in Yorkshire. The role focuses on arranging access to farmland and properties for maintenance and construction work, resolving land ownership issues, and supporting substation access rights, with a pathway to professional surveyor status.

You will collaborate with engineers, landowners, agents and environmental representatives, build stakeholder relationships, and communicate site outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two A levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Willingness to undertake further study to achieve RICS (AssocRICS) or CAAV.
• Full clean driving license is essential.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and manage multiple jobs.

Responsibilities

• Arrange access onto farmland and properties for maintenance and construction works.
• Progress basic land damage claims after works are completed.
• Coordinate with construction teams, landowners, agents and environmental representatives.
• Establish access rights for substation maintenance works.
• Advise contractors regarding property rights.
• Meet grantors, customers, local authorities and statutory bodies.
