Job summary

Northern Powergrid Limited is seeking a motivated individual for a Programme Delivery Land Rights role in the Yorkshire area. You’ll arrange access to farmland for maintenance and replacement works, liaise with landowners, and manage basic land claims while supporting a multi-disciplinary team.

You’ll undertake a two-year training and development programme, aiming for RICS/AssocRICS membership. A clean driving licence is essential, with DBS screening as part of compliance.

Qualifications

• A full clean driving licence is essential.
• Candidates should hold 2 A levels or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Arrange access onto farmland and other properties for maintenance and construction works.
• Progress basic land damage claims after works are completed and coordinate with contractors.
• Establish access rights for substation maintenance works and resolve land ownership issues.
• Communicate with grantors, customers, local authorities and statutory bodies; attend site meetings.
• Provide advice and information to contractors regarding property rights.
