Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Project Manager – Land & Property for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Leeds, delivering a portfolio of building, estate and infrastructure projects. Hybrid working, with two Leeds office days per week and travel to Yorkshire Water sites as required.

You will lead on scopes, budgets, risks, and governance, coordinating contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction-related projects from start to finish.
• Confident working across a variety of site environments and engaging with contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong financial management and reporting skills, including SAP or PMS.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and project governance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Land & Property projects from concept to completion.
• Forecast, budget, and report on expenditure with clear visibility.
• Ensure governance and compliance with corporate requirements.
• Develop robust project plans, business cases and risk assessments.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Represent the business at site meetings and conduct health & safety audits.
