This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, involving the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition, to leading a team through planning, construction, and asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers is key.

The role involves ownership of development and planning from concept to completion, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills, multitasking, and meeting deadlines. The role is based at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days a week.

What you'll do

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire deals for new stores.
• Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence.
• Manage planning applications from submission to approval.
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop relationships with local authorities, landlords, tenants, and developers.
• Oversee the full development and planning process.
• Manage real estate assets.

What you'll need

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Degree (minimum 2:2), preferably relevant discipline.
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or property planning.
• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and multi-tasking ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
