Summary: £62,000-£90,000 per annum | 35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Company Car

This role offers the opportunity to manage our expansion in East Sussex and Kent, overseeing the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, acquisition, to development and ongoing management. You will develop relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, and developers, leading projects from concept to completion.

The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking ability, and meeting tight deadlines. The role is based in Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores
• Perform site inspections, development appraisals, and manage legal and planning due diligence
• Manage planning applications from submission to approval
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers
• Oversee the full development process from concept to completion
• Manage real estate assets

Requirements

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
• Degree (2:2 minimum), ideally in a relevant field
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or town planning
• MRICS qualification preferred
• Strong negotiation, legal, and commercial property skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK
