This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, involving the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, acquisition, planning, construction support, to ongoing asset management. You will develop relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers.

You will own the full development and planning processes from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Note: This role is internally called Senior Acquisitions Consultant.

What you'll do

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores.
• Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence.
• Manage planning application lifecycle from submission to approval.
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
• Manage real estate assets of freehold and leasehold properties.

What you'll need

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Degree-level education (minimum 2:2) in a relevant field.
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.
• Ideally MRICS qualified.
• Strong negotiation skills and network.
• Solid understanding of commercial property law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
