Job summary

McLaren Racing is recruiting for multiple roles within our Composite Laminating Team to support the build of McLaren Racing’s 2027 Formula One car. Based at McLaren Racing Composites (MRC) and will focus on producing high-performance composite parts and assemblies for the F1 team.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with composite laminating, mould preparation, and autoclave operation. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential in this fast-paced motorsport

Qualifications

• Experience as a composite laminator in motorsport or aerospace preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to take initiative.
• High attention to detail with quality focus.
• Good communication skills and clear information sharing.

Responsibilities

• Produce F1 car components on current and future McLaren platforms.
• Prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds.
• Operate autoclaves according to process specs.
• Support other teams as workload dictates.

Principal Accountabilities

• Production of F1 car components on current and future MCL cars
• Mould preparation, manufacture and maintenance
• Operation of autoclaves
• Work in a safe manner and to prescribed process
• Prove support to other teams as work load dictates

Qualifications

• Skilled composite laminator – previous experience in motorsport (especially F1) or aerospace is preferable
• Proactive, self-motivated and uses initiative, looks for the next task and offers solutions to problems
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skills – uses accurate and clear communication and demonstrates when information is understood
