Randstad Construction and Property is hiring a dependable general labourer for a long-term contract on a major residential new build in Winchburgh. You will assist trades, move materials on live plots, and help keep the site clean and safe.

The role requires a valid CSCS card, previous site labour experience, full PPE, and punctuality. Applicants should be based in or able to commute to Winchburgh, West Lothian, Edinburgh or Falkirk area.

• Previous experience as a labourer on a construction site preferred.
• Based in or able to commute to Winchburgh area.

Responsabilités

• Assisting sub‑contractors and site trades with moving and distributing building materials across live plots.
• Sweeping plots, clearing construction waste, and loading skips.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised site environment in line with health and safety procedures.
• Assisting site management with unloading and managing incoming deliveries.
• Carrying out general physical labour and manual handling duties as directed by the Site Manager.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a dependable general labourer for a long‑term contract role on a major residential new build development in Winchburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting sub‑contractors and site trades with moving and distributing building materials across live plots.
• Sweeping out plots, clearing construction waste, and loading skips.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site environment in line with health and safety procedures.
• Assisting site management with unloading and managing incoming deliveries.
• Carrying out general physical labour and manual handling duties as directed by the Site Manager.

What We Are Looking For:

• Valid CSCS card (Essential).
• Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction site (New build housing experience preferred).
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high‑vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots).
• Strong work ethic, excellent punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
• Solid awareness of site health and safety procedures around live plots and site plant.
• Based in or easily commutable to Winchburgh (West Lothian / Edinburgh / Falkirk area).
