Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a dependable site labourer for a contract role on a commercial construction site in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

You will assist sub-contractors and trade teams, keep routes and work areas clean and safe, and help with deliveries and waste management while complying with health and safety rules. A valid CSCS card and full PPE are required, and you should be based in or easily commutable to Bishopbriggs.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card essential.
• Experience as a labourer on commercial sites.
• Full PPE: hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots.
• Safety-conscious with punctuality.
• Able to follow health and safety procedures.
• Based in or commutable to Bishopbriggs/North Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and equipment across site to assist trade teams.
• Keep site access routes, compounds and work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Manage commercial waste, clear debris and load skips.
• Assist unloading, checking and distribution of incoming site deliveries.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a dependable site labourer for a contract role on a commercial construction site in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

Working alongside an established main contractor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining site standards, supporting trade teams, and ensuring daily operations run safely and on schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assisting sub-contractors and specialist trade teams with moving materials and equipment across site.
• Keeping site access routes, compounds, and work areas clean, safe, and organised.
• Managing commercial waste, clearing debris, and loading skips.
• Assisting with the unloading, checking, and distribution of incoming site deliveries.
• Carrying out general physical labour and manual handling duties as directed by the Site Manager.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
• Proven experience working as a labourer on commercial construction sites.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots).
• A proactive, safety-conscious work ethic and excellent punctuality.
• Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures.
• Based in or easily commutable to Bishopbriggs / North Glasgow.
