GAP Group is hiring a proactive Labourer for our Tower Bridge Plant & Tools depot in London. You’ll keep the workshop and yard tidy, prepare plant equipment for hire, and support the team in delivering excellent service to customers across construction, utilities and infrastructure.

This hands-on role offers real career progression in a family-run business that values safety, teamwork and initiative. CSCS card and forklift licence are advantageous, as is a valid driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Clean plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion.
• Refuel plant and machinery, updating fuel logs.
• Quality-check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it’s hire-ready.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.
• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operate forklift when necessary.

We’re looking for a proactive and hardworking Labourer to join our high-performing Plant & Tool Division. As a Labourer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly and safely. You’ll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare plant equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Cleaning plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion
• Refuelling plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs
• Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it’s hire-ready
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required
• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles
• Operating forklift when necessary

About You

• Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
• Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
• Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence are advantageous
