Job summary

Multitask Personnel is seeking a reliable Facilities Labourer to join our on-site team. You will contribute to keeping the site clean, safe and well maintained with hands-on painting and decorating tasks.

You should have proven painting experience and be comfortable with general maintenance work. The role offers regular weekday hours, a practical, team-oriented environment and opportunities to contribute to a variety of site projects.

Qualifications

• Proven painting experience is essential.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance or labouring preferred.
• Reliable, punctual with good attendance.
• Safety conscious with responsible approach to safety.

• Team player who can also work independently; take pride in quality.
• Basic DIY or general maintenance skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Paint internal and external areas, including walls, floors, fixtures, railings and markings.
• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling, masking).
• Perform general site maintenance and minor repairs.
• Keep buildings, walkways and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Carry out manual handling and general labouring duties as required.
• Support the facilities team with day-to-day jobs and planned maintenance.
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures at all times.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Facilities Labourer to join our on-site facilities team. You’ll play a key part in keeping our site clean, safe and well maintained, with some experience in painting and decorating. This is a varied, hands-on position, so you’ll need to be flexible and happy to turn your hand to whatever is needed.

Key responsibilities

• Painting and decorating internal and external areas, including walls, floors, fixtures, railings and markings
• Preparing surfaces ready for painting, such as cleaning, sanding, filling and masking
• General site maintenance and minor repair tasks
• Keeping buildings, walkways and work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Manual handling and general labouring duties as required
• Supporting the facilities team with day-to-day jobs and planned maintenance work
• Following all site safety rules, procedures and instructions at all times

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in painting (essential)
• Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance or labouring role is preferred
• Reliable and punctual, with a good attendance record
• Safety conscious, with a responsible approach to your own safety and that of others
• A hard worker with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
