Link Contracting Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their award-winning, family-run team in the North West. You will deliver painting and decorating services across local authority, education, retail, pubs, and private sites, working with customers and site teams to maintain high standards.

The role is field-based, requiring independence, safety focus, and strong client relations.

Formación

• Proven experience working in occupied environments (retail, pubs, public buildings).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

The Role

You’ll deliver a wide range of painting and decorating services across local authority, education, retail, pubs, and private sector sites.This is a customer-facing role, where your workmanship and attitude will directly contribute to our reputation. You will be trusted to work independently while maintaining the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality painting & decorating work across various sites
• Work professionally in occupied premises, ensuring minimal disruption
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and site teams
• Accurately complete job reports using mobile devices
• Follow all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
• Collaborate effectively with other trades to meet project requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience working in occupied environments (retail, pubs, public buildings)
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating (desirable)
• A strong commitment to safety and quality standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused mindset
• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Flexible with working hours when required (occasional evenings early start/weekends maybe required)

Desirable Skills

• Multi-trade / handyman experience
• PASMA, IPAF, or SSSTS certifications

• £30,000 – £31,500 salary (depending on experience)
