Job summary

Andrews Sykes Group PLC is hiring a full-time Labourer at the Charlton Depot. You will provide essential hands-on support across the depot, including loading, unloading, equipment preparation and stock movement to keep operations running smoothly and customers supported.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable and a strong team player with good communication. CSCS Card and a full UK driving licence are advantageous for this role.

• Ensure equipment and areas meet company standards and health-safety procedures.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Labourer to join our team at our Charlton Depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to be part of a busy, fast-paced operation where no two days are the same.

The Role

As a Labourer, you will provide essential support across the depot, helping to ensure equipment, stock and day-to-day operations run efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the depot
• Loading, unloading and moving equipment safely
• Preparing equipment ready for hire
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Assisting with stock movements and yard organisation
• Supporting depot and engineering teams with operational tasks
• Ensuring equipment and work areas meet company standards
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in a similar position, preferably within the hire, plant, construction or related industry.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Hardworking, reliable and self-motivated
• Commercially aware and focused on delivering results
• Able to work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business

The following would be advantageous:
