Job summary

Andrews Sykes, the UK’s leading provider of specialist HVAC, pump and equipment hire solutions, is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join the Nottingham depot. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection and transportation of equipment to customer sites across the East Midlands.

Working with internal teams and customers, you’ll help maintain industry-leading service standards while conducting vehicle checks, adhering to transport legislation and promoting high health

Qualifications

• A valid HGV driving licence.
• Previous experience within a similar driving role.
• Plant hire industry experience (preferred).
• ALLMI and/or ADR qualifications (desirable).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A proactive, highly motivated attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting equipment safely and professionally.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
• Representing Andrews Sykes positively when interacting with customers.
• Supporting depot operations and assisting colleagues where required.

The Role

As an HGV Driver based at our Nottingham depot, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection and transportation of equipment to customer sites across the region.
