Job summary

Monnoyeur Group in the UK is recruiting a General Labourer to operate from the Equipment Preparation Centre. You will perform a mix of general warehouse duties, workshop and yard housekeeping, all in a safe, professional manner and with care and attention.

You will be responsible for yard and warehouse spaces, receive trucks, complete GRN documentation, identify damage, unload/load from internal and external vehicles, and ensure safe storage to optimise space.

Qualifications

• Similar experience within a general labouring role.
• Willingness to undertake general warehouse work and housekeeping.
• Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive.
• Helpful and willing to take ownership of duties.
• Ability to work independently on sites in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and in line with Health and Safety policy standards.
• Take responsibility for yard and warehouse spaces daily.
• Keep yard, warehouse and mezzanine clean and tidy.
• Visually inspect trucks on receipt and complete GRN documentation.
• Identify damage and notify workshop manager; unload/load trucks and goods safely.
• Store trucks and goods on site to optimise space.

Core Activities - General Labourer – Materials Handling

To work safely and in accordance with the company Health and Safety policy standards. To have overall responsibility for the yard and warehouse spaces on a day to day basis. To ensure the yard, warehouse and mezzanine are kept clean and tidy. To carry out visual inspections of all trucks being received at the Equipment Prep Centre and complete Goods Receiving Notification (GRN) documentation in line with both the companies’ procedures and ISO accreditation. To identify any damage to either trucks or goods being received and notifying the workshop manager accordingly. To carry out the safe unloading/loading of trucks or goods from both internal and external transport vehicles. ensure all trucks and goods are stored on site safely and in a way to optimise space utilisation.
