The role:

Laboratory technician to work as part of a team providing support services to laboratory-based scientists. Core activities include ensuring equipment is calibrated and ready to use, consumables and buffers are stocked, and maintaining high standards in the lab.

Candidates for this role must have previous laboratory experience.

What you’ll do:

• Complete routine equipment calibration checks (daily and weekly).
• Generate analytical buffers for laboratory methods and processes.
• Manage laboratory consumables stock, including checking stock locations and ordering supplies via the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Clean glassware and plastic ware, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
• Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, and notifications.
• Prepare water baths according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
• Record all data and results accurately in electronic and paper forms, adhering to GMP and Data Integrity principles.
