Job summary

Tetra Tech is recruiting a Project Coordinator for our Bedford laboratory to support complex analytical projects. You will coordinate client enquiries, project information and sample orders, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with lab teams.

Based in a fast-paced laboratory environment, you will help develop tailored analytical programmes and maintain accurate records in the LIMS, while escalating delays or issues as needed.

Qualifications

• You should have an interest in science, ideally supported by relevant qualifications, alongside strong administration, customer service and organisational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are important.
• Experience in a laboratory, client-facing role, project coordination or LIMS environment would be advantageous.
• Previous project management experience, supporting team workloads, working with a support desk, or identifying chargeable activity would also be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, professional client support, understanding requirements and keeping clients informed.
• Review submitted work, confirm logging, manage project information and maintain clear records within LIMS and related systems.
• Liaise effectively with laboratory staff and sales colleagues to resolve issues, manage expectations and support smooth workflow.
• Work accurately in a fast-paced technical environment, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring client instructions are followed.
