Job Description:

We now have an exciting opportunity for diligent and dynamic Laboratory Analysts to cover maternity leave supporting our Exploration & Production team in Aberdeen.

About You:

• Higher National Diploma in a related scientific subject or at least 2 years of experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory
• Exceptional organisational skills to ensure priorities are met and the ability to plan and organise workload with minimal supervision
• Willing to work hands-on at all levels
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• IT literate with proficiency in MS Office
• Flexible working hours

This is an excellent opportunity for Laboratory Analysts (Maternity Cover) to support our Exploration & Production team in Aberdeen. You will report to the Team Leader and support testing and daily laboratory operations.

Key Activities:

• Perform sample analysis according to technical standards and client requirements as directed by senior team members
• Compile analysis results and prepare final reports for proofreading and client delivery
• Manage stock and receipting of consumables
• Maintain equipment and ensure calibration standards are met
• Report technical faults and non-conformance issues to the line manager
• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement within the team
