Job summary

Network Scientific Recruitment seeks a Graduate Laboratory Analyst for their site near Reading. The role involves lab-based analytical work and provides opportunities to develop skills within a supportive team.

You will perform bench and chromatographic techniques, complete documentation, and work with study directors to deliver client studies on time and to a high standard of quality. A scientific degree is required; GLP/HPLC experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree level or above in a relevant scientific discipline (ideally Chemistry).
• Practical laboratory experience and solid bench skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, investigative and analytical skills.
• Desirable – practical experience with HPLC and GC and GLP knowledge.

A highly successful contract testing organisation are seeking a Graduate Laboratory Analyst to join the team at their site near reading. The company provide analytical testing services to the Chemical Industry and you will be working on a variety of client’s studies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly supportive and motivational team with realistic opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

Role Overview

• Permanent , Full Time (mon-fri 9-5, 37.5 hours per week) £25,000pa.
• Lab Based analytical work utilising a range of bench and chromatographic techniques.
• Completion of related documentation and data interpretation
• Work closely with study directors and other scientists to ensure client’s studies are delivered on time to excellent standard of quality.

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level or above in a relevant scientific discipline (ideally Chemistry related)
• Practical Laboratory experience and good basic lab/bench skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, investigative and analytical skills.
• Highly Advantageous but not essential – Practical Experience with HPLC + GC and knowledge of GLP.
