Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Laboratory Testing Technician in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role involves carrying out routine physical testing of safety products to meet industry standards and recording accurate results.

You'll operate testing equipment, prepare samples, maintain records, and support senior staff with customer visits. A comprehensive training programme is provided, with a salary up to £26,000 per annum for 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science required.
• Strong IT skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine physical testing of safety products per recognised standards.
• Operate specialist testing equipment and record accurate results.
• Prepare samples prior to testing.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, work areas and sample storage facilities.
• Process test data and maintain electronic records.
• Support senior technical staff with customer visits and demonstrations as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and within timescales.
• Comprehensive training will be provided to support development in the role.
