Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring a Footwear Testing Technician in Kettering, Northamptonshire. You will conduct physical testing of footwear, materials and components in a dedicated laboratory, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.

Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for those with laboratory experience or those seeking to start a career in product testing. The role offers 37.5 hours per week and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science required.
• Strong IT skills including Word and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine physical testing of footwear and materials using lab equipment.
• Follow established testing procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Accurately record and report test results.
• Maintain and organise laboratory equipment and testing areas.
• Support continuous improvement activities in the laboratory.
• Keep training and quality records up to date.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the testing team.
