Job summary

Pertemps Northampton is seeking a Laboratory Testing Technician in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role involves performing routine physical testing on safety products, operating specialist equipment and recording results to recognised standards.

You will join a collaborative team and receive comprehensive training, with a salary of up to £26,000 per annum and 37.5 hours per week. On-site parking is available and there are opportunities to develop within a technical testing environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science.
• Good IT skills with Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine physical testing of safety products.
• Operate testing equipment and record results.
• Prepare samples prior to testing.
• Maintain lab equipment, work areas and storage.
• Process test data and keep electronic records.
• Support senior staff with customer visits/demos as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely and on time.
• Receive comprehensive training to develop in-role.
